Get Free

Like the windmill's blades go around
So the drug's screaming sound

Always reminding me that I wasn't free
Making me feel like I never would be

But my prayers I kept sending up above
To the God in heaven Who is love

Day after day, year after year I would pray
And deliverance finally came to me one day

Though five years had passed since my first prayer
Now, I can help others for whom I love & care

To never give up but use the tools we need
Like Coping Skills or where they may lead

Set your mind on the future and keep your goals
Stay safe and strong however the tide rolls

Leave the danger zone and stay grounded in the good
Don't go near the users and stay in safe neighborhoods

Always set your mind on where you want to go
Where you feel you are safe from ever foe

Run to the light and truth from above
HE will you guide you with HIS eyes of love

#marijuana #alcohol #sex #cigarettes were my only vices but God can set anyone free of anything.  The surgeon general said that cigarettes are one of the strongest addictions known and God set me free from them in 2007, I haven't touched pot since 1995, no alcohol (not even a drop) since 2005, no adultery or sex out of wedlock since 1996, no sex at all since I left my ex husband for abusing me in July 2000.
